PLASA Focus Leeds opens its doors next week, 9-10 May at Royal Armouries, hosting a wealth of product launches and the latest UK debuts. ‘The Challenges of Lighting Performances in Non-traditional Spaces’ - The Association of Lighting Designers will explore performance outside the confines of a “traditional” built theatre using case studies of work based in and around Leeds and the recent Transform Festival as examples.
‘Visualisation at The Royal Opera House’ by James Simpson, Lighting Visualiser, The Royal Opera House talking about some of the latest projects from The ROH, how it is achieved technically and a brief look into the future of visualisation technology. James will also be talking for the first time about an exciting new R&D project being developed at the ROH.
